The large inviting Gerhart Hall kitchen is the center of our “edible” hospitality. We prepare the Wednesday night suppers, breakfast for the New Faith Formation class on Sunday mornings, cookies for the Cookie Reception after the 10:30 service as well as other special meals and receptions requested by the clergy.
Hospitality as a ministry was formed when Fr. Luke Back saw a need for regular social gatherings for our parish in 2015. The ministry has grown as our beautiful kitchen, inviting serving area and parish dining in Gerhart Hall provided the space and opportunities for fellowship.
The commitment involves a willingness to serve when possible. There is no list or obligation to join, but just an opportunity to serve when needed and when possible. It is a great time to meet new people and feel a part of a loved part of hospitality.
