After a period of careful discernment, we are delighted to announce that LeighAnna Morris will be joining the staff of the Church of the Heavenly Rest as our Parish Accountant.
A native of Dalhart, LeighAnna attended Hardin-Simmons University, where she earned a degree in Psychology. In recent years, she has worked in accounting at Goodwill of West Texas and Jerry Love CPA, where she impressed her employers with her work ethic and dedication to her job. Those members of the Heavenly Rest community who had an opportunity to meet LeighAnna during the interview process were struck by her warmth, focus, and organizational ability. We are confident that she will be an asset to this parish and a wonderful addition to the staff. For her part, LeighAnna expressed excitement about working at a place where she could make a positive difference in people’s lives.
LeighAnna’s first day at Heavenly Rest will be February 16. Please drop by the office and welcome her during her first few weeks. In the meantime, please keep LeighAnna and her husband in your prayers as she prepares to begin this next step in her vocational journey.
