The adult choir is the primary music leadership for the 10:30 a.m. liturgy in addition to any musical services throughout the year such as Evensong and Compline. Music literacy, church music history, liturgics, and community building are meshed into every rehearsal. This choir also sings for at least one special liturgy each semester, i.e. a Requiem, Festival Eucharist, Lessons and Carols, or a Passion.
The adult choir meets each Thursday from 7:30-9:00 p.m. from late August to late May. Every Sunday morning the choir gathers at 9:45 a.m. to rehearse before church. Regular attendance is encouraged not only to keep pace with the music but also to form a strong community.
This choir is open to anyone in 9th grade and above. Music literacy is not a requirement, but it is an asset. There are no auditions.
