Dr. Susan Pigott - Deacon

The Rev. Dr. Susan Pigott grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Susan was Professor of Old Testament and Hebrew at the Logsdon School of Theology, Hardin-Simmons University for twenty-eight years.
Subsequently, she went through the discernment process for the priesthood and moved to Austin for a year to earn her Diploma in Anglican Studies from Seminary of the Southwest. She now serves as Deacon and Pastoral Assistant at Heavenly Rest.
Susan is married to the Rev. Dr. Kelly Pigott who is Professor of Theology at Hardin-Simmons and who also pastors two Presbyterian churches in Haskell and Stamford, Texas.
They have two grown children, Nathaniel and Eliana. A self-described "cat lady," Susan considers Tyndale, Harry, and Hermione as part of the family.
Susan's interests include fountain pen collecting, bookbinding, reading, hiking, and writing.
